Flamingos & Salt Flats: A Wildly Chic and FUN Wedding Photoshoot on the Greek Islands

A Greek Island Wedding With Soul

Picture this: a cliffside chapel overlooking the Aegean Sea, 100 loved ones gathered, and the bride, a vision in Pronovias with gorgeous, voluminous curls, walking toward her groom under the golden island sun. The ceremony took place at Saint Nicholas Holy Chapel, perched on the rocks, with views that will make your heart skip.

Why This Wedding Was Different (and Why That Matters)

This wasn’t just a wedding. It was an experience. A fusion of luxury, Greek tradition, and personality-driven details that made the whole event feel like a storybook, but the kind that winks at you and passes you a cocktail.

And that’s what I love to capture. Unscripted joy, effortless elegance, and a little bit of “what if we…?”

Wedding reception by the sea (and swing beats in the air)

As the sun dipped, the couple hosted a candle-lit seaside dinner under the stars at Romeo restaurant in Myrina. A private chef served a delicious 4-course Greek feast while Gadjo Dilo serenaded everyone with Greek swing music. Think romance, rhythm, and ouzo-fueled dancing under the moonlight.

Personal touches? Oh yes. Each guest received a marble or amethyst rock, paired with traditional Greek “bobonieres” – a nod to local customs with a chic twist.

🦩 The Day After: Salt, Flamingos & Ice Cream

Because normal just isn’t our style, the next day we hit the salt lake, a surreal dried-out landscape that looked like snow.
We brought along giant inflatable flamingos (plus a few tiny floaty friends to hold beers, naturally).

We did forget the pump (oops), but that turned into one of my favorite moments: the bride, chill and unbothered, munching on a Magnum ice cream at a gas station while we filled up the flamingo.
